Vactor (truck) 2112 Plus Truck Information:

Vactor Trucks is a leader in material handling vehicles for sewer cleaning. The company began in 1911 in Chicago, Illinois. The original name of the company was Myers-Sherman Company. Manufacturing started with pneumatic farm equipment. They evolved into sewer cleaning by the 1960s. As cities grew, the need for efficient material handlers clean grew by leaps and bounds. The company exchanged hands several times before settling on Vactor in 1994.

Their history in farming equipment is what led to the innovation for sewer cleaning. Milking machines, conveyors, and feed mixers provided the basis. With that basis, they were able to solve a problem for public works systems across the country.

Today their catch basin and combination sewer cleaners are popular amongst many municipalities. They also offer water recyclers, water jetters, and vacuum excavators. If you have a problem with no known solution, they can customize a vehicle. No problem is too big or too small for them to find a solution for.

The greatest thing about the company is the availability of service and parts. All vehicles need new parts at some point and finding the right part is easy.
