Western Star 5964ss Truck Information:

Western Star Trucks is well known around the globe for engineering heavy-duty trucks. Tough jobs and hauls that may be difficult for standard trucks to handle is where a Western Star truck prevails.

When the company was first established in 1967, the main goal was to design trucks with the driver in mind. They believed that the comfort and safety of the driver was the most important aspect of the truck. Soon after, Western Star Trucks started to become more and more popular because of the increasing demand of heavy-duty oil transportation, mining, and logging trucks.

Western Star tTrucks continued to grow in sales throughout the 1980s, as they were reputable to be durable and comfortable for the operator. They had features that the competitors did not, such as an extended cab with extra head room, and superior visibility for the driver. Throughout the 1990s and 2000’s, Wester Star Trucks continued to grow and improve their trucks for the driver, and heavy-duty transportation.

Today, Western Star Trucks manufactures dozens of trailer models to choose from and are still known to always have the driver in mind. Always focusing on the needs of the driver and producing strong trucks is what has given the company its stamp of being the ultimate in comfort and power.
